Exam Breach: Have YOU committed one?

This workshop is intended for ALL Vocational Training teachers.
​
Would you know if you committed an exam breach? Would you recognize if an exam breach was committed? What constitutes an exam breach?


Properly recognizing and managing an exam breach are critical for maintaining the integrity of an exam and to preserve the resources available to teachers.

This workshop will have an interactive component where participants will look at different scenarios and have group discussions as to how to recognize and respond to an exam breach.

The presenter will review some good practices for preventing and managing exam breaches to help you develop a plan for your centre.

This workshop is intended for Vocational teachers in the Secretarial Studies Program.

PART 1: The workshop will start with a 30-minute exchange of feedback on:
a. Digital Media (18)
b. Coordinating Multiple Tasks (24)
c. Open Forum

PART 2: A look at some software and technology using Chrome books
a. Access
b. Advanced Excel features: Vlookup, Pivot Tables (with exercises)
c. Sage
d. Office 365
e. How to use a document camera
f. Scanning documents with an application
g. Video montage
h. PDF Sam

Chrome Books will be provided during the workshop. As well, as an updated mind map for the Secretarial Studies program will be distributed.
