Linda Vaillancourt, Vocational Teacher

This workshop is intended for Vocational teachers teaching in the Secretarial Program.

The development of the competencies within the new secretarial program (5857) continues.
Linda Vaillancourt will introduce the content, evaluation specifications, summative assessments for:

Competency 4: Quality of Written English
Competency 9: Business Texts in English
Competency 11: Producing Business Correspondence
Competency 18: Digital Media

Time permitting, formative exercises will also be developed.

Participants will collaborate to create more exercises to be added to the database for all to share. Working together will make the transition and implementation of the new program that much easier. This will be an opportunity to network and create!

Teaching an Effective & Dynamic Community Vocational Course

This workshop is intended for Vocational teachers teaching at community centers.

This workshop is to help better equip our teachers in Community Vocational to provide more variety, and to employ effective teaching methods to our unique circumstance.

Teachers attending this workshop will be shown strategies and teaching methods and be provided with solid tools that have been highly successful within our community!
